Dear Settlers,

Just a friendly reminder, The Settlers Online Zeus and Ares servers will come down for its weekly maintenance. 

  • Start: Wednesday, March 26th at 11:45 PM PST (March 27th at 2:45 AM EST)
  • End: Thursday, March 27th at 4:00AM PST (7:00 AM EST)
  • Premium/Adventure Times:  Extended
  • Guild Quests: will not be reset.

18.03.2014Update about bandit camp buffs

Dear Settlers,

Thanks for your feedback about the planned changes to Weak Point Potion and Ranged Support buffs. The mechanism controlling how these buffs work still needs to be changedm but the modification will not affect already acquired buffs.


Recently announced changes will still take place, 
but they will not affect already acquired buffs.

Next steps:

  • Mentioned buffs will be temporarily disabled in the Shop (03.27.2014)
  • Behavior of already acquired buffs will remain unchanged
  • Two buffs will be re-introduced in the future with a changed behavior

13.03.2014More information on population changes

Dear Settlers,

Before last night's maintenance, the mechanism responsible for adding new settlers to villages was not working properly. In some cases, villages became over-populated (i.e. amount of settlers living in a village was higher than the population limit). The issue was fixed during maintenance and the amount of settlers was adjusted accordingly. In case a village was over-populated, the script could modify the amount of unemployed settlers and, if that was not enough, it could also adjust the amount of working settlers.

As the adjustment was rather alarming for some players, we have created a forum post that clarifies the changes made and workarounds for any residual issues after the adjustment.
