Update: Maintenance is complete!

Update: The downtime will start as mentioned below.

Earlier today, the worldwide championship event was added to the game and then removed. Our technical team has been working on a solution and we will be employing a maintenance tomorrow. Please note that although this is the current plan, it might change. We will keep you updated.

Dear Settlers,

Earlier today, a trial activation of the World Championship Event took place in-game. After initial tests, we've discovered some issues which our technical team is currently trying to correct.

UPDATE 11 AM EDT: Please note that after the restart earlier this morning, the event is currently deactivated until further notice.

UPDATE 1:30 PM EDT: The Summer Event will not start today, as more time is needed to investigate a difficulty that has been found. Further information will follow soon, most likely tomorrow.

Today there was an outage of the data center, caused by severe weather. Because of this, the outage took longer as not "only" this game was affected.

The service is back online (03:35 PST).
