Settlers! Blue Byte recently sent us a developer diary which is full of all of the planned features for the Settlers Online. This diary focuses on the features that are currently being worked on or are in the planning stages. As most of you have noticed, we have had a few pathing changes in the game. We realize you will likely have to change strategies for the adventures. In order to facilitate this we will be holding an Adventure Guide Revamp Contest. We want guides for all adventures, so send in your best. When this event is completed we are hoping to have an Adventure Guide Compendium for all of our players. Winners of this contest take home 1,000 Gems each!

We’ve all heard it before: a picture is worth 1000 words. While that is certainly true, your pictures could also be worth 250 Gems or even an extremely rare Angel Gate decoration! Perhaps you have a cool or crazy town layout, or maybe you caught your peasants doing something hilarious. If so, we want to see it! Get that print-screen key ready, you never know when you’re gonna find that perfect scene.

Here’s how it works: Submit your favorite Castle Empire screenshots in the screenshot thread on the forums. These screenshots can be just about anything as long as they take place in Castle Empire. Each week we will choose one screenshot to highlight on our Facebook page. The person chosen will also receive 250 Gems! At the end of the month, the weekly screenshots from that month will be pitted against each other, and the community will decide the winner by voting for their favorite in the forums. That lucky winner will take home an Angel Gate!
